To the Emperor Marcian, Praising Proterius
In this letter Leo praises the orthodoxy of Proterius, and urges that Proterius should have passages bearing on the present controversy read aloud in public from the writings of Athanasius and others, and also the Tome itself, in a new Greek translation.
