Another Fragment, on the Palm Branches

But let us, brothers and sisters, who have received the vineyard from the Savior and are invited to the heavenly banquet, since the feast is now drawing near, take the branches of the palm trees. Proving ourselves conquerors of sin, let us also, like those who went out to meet the Savior on that occasion, make ourselves ready by our conduct, both to meet him when he comes, and to go in with him and share in the immortal food, and from then on to live eternally in the heavens.
