Removing Even Spiritual Causes of Discord

So, for keeping a lasting and unbroken love, it is of no use to have removed the first cause of discord, which generally arises from frail and earthly things, or to have disregarded everything of the flesh and allowed our brothers an unrestricted share in everything our needs require, unless we also cut off in the same way the second cause, which generally arises under the guise of spiritual feelings, and unless in everything we gain humble thoughts and wills in harmony.
