The Dream of Being Ordained

Sometimes it creates a wish to take holy orders, and a desire for the priesthood or the diaconate. It suggests to a man that if he received this office, even against his will, he would fulfill it with such holiness and strictness that he could set an example of holy living even to other priests, and that he would win over many people, not only by his way of life but also by his teaching and preaching. Even when he is alone, sitting in his cell, it makes him go around in mind and imagination to the dwellings and monasteries of others, and make many conversions, carried along by an imagined triumph.
