Fortunatianus the Bishop

Fortunatianus, an African by birth, was bishop of Aquileia in the reign of Constantius. He wrote brief Commentaries on the Gospels, arranged by chapters, in a rustic style. He is held in loathing because, when Liberius, bishop of Rome, was driven into exile for the faith, it was through the urging of Fortunatianus that Liberius was brought to sign his name to heresy.
