Archelaus the Bishop

Archelaus, a bishop of Mesopotamia, wrote in the Syriac language a book of the debate he held with Manichaeus when Manichaeus came from Persia. This book has been translated into Greek, and many people own it. He flourished in the reign of the emperor Probus, who succeeded Aurelian and Tacitus.
