Vitellius the African
Vitellius the African, defending the Donatist schism, wrote Why the Servants of God Are Hated by the World. In it, apart from calling us persecutors, he set out excellent teaching. He also wrote Against the Nations, and against us as traditors of the Holy Scriptures in times of persecution, and he wrote much On Church Procedure. He was distinguished in the reign of Constans, son of the emperor Constantine.
