Eunomius, Founder of a Heresy

Eunomius, bishop of Cyzicus and a member of the Arian party, fell into such open blasphemy in his heresy that he proclaimed publicly what the others kept hidden. He is said to be still living in Cappadocia and to be writing much against the church. Replies to him have been written by Apollinaris, Didymus, Basil of Caesarea, Gregory of Nazianzus and Gregory of Nyssa. [a]
