Acilius Severus the Senator
Acilius Severus of Spain, of the family of the Severus to whom Lactantius addressed his two books of Letters, wrote a volume of mixed verse and prose, a kind of guidebook to his whole life. He called it Calamity, or Trial. He died in the reign of Valentinian.
