Victorinus the Teacher of Rhetoric
Victorinus, an African by birth, taught rhetoric at Rome under the emperor Constantius. In extreme old age he gave himself up to faith in Christ and wrote books against Arius. They are written in the manner of the logicians and in very obscure language, and they can be understood only by the learned. He also wrote Commentaries on the Letters.
