Basil to the People of Nicopolis
Here Tilius and Bishop Beveridge also include a letter of Saint Basil the Great to the people of Nicopolis, comforting them for the loss of their church, or house of prayer. He tells them that they ought not to be troubled that they worship God in the open air. For the eleven apostles worshiped God in an upper room, where they were shut in, while those who crucified Jesus held their worship in a most famous temple.
