Emperor by the Will of God

So the God of all, the supreme Governor of the whole universe, by his own will appointed Constantine, the offspring of so renowned a parent, to be prince and sovereign. Others have been raised to this rank by the choice of their fellow men, but he is the only one whose rise no mortal can boast of having helped to bring about.
