The Most Holy Tomb Is Found

This too was done without delay. But as soon as the original surface of the ground appeared beneath the covering of earth, at once, and against all expectation, the revered and hallowed monument of our Savior’s resurrection was discovered. Then indeed this most holy cave presented a true likeness of his return to life, for after lying buried in darkness it came out into the light again. To all who came to see the sight it gave clear and visible proof of the wonders that spot had once witnessed, a testimony to the resurrection of the Savior clearer than any voice could give.
