More Letters of Dionysius

Besides these, many other letters of Dionysius are in circulation: those against Sabellius, addressed to Ammon, bishop of the church at Berenice; one to Telesphorus; one to Euphranor; and another again to Ammon and Euporus. He also composed four other books on the same subject, which he addressed to his namesake Dionysius at Rome. Besides these we have many more of his letters, as well as long treatises written in the form of letters, like the books On Nature, addressed to the young Timothy, and the one On Temptations, which he also dedicated to Euphranor. Further, writing to Basilides, bishop of the churches in the Pentapolis, he says that he had written a commentary on the beginning of Ecclesiastes. He has also left us various letters to this same Basilides. So much for Dionysius. But now that the account of these men is finished, let us go on to hand down to those who come after us what our own generation was like.
