Steven de Graet and Sijntgen, in the Year 1564

In the year 1564 a brother named Steven de Graet was arrested at Ghent in Flanders for the truth, with Sijntgen, his aged mother. Both were well confirmed in the faith and continued in it amid all enticements and sufferings, even to the death they had to suffer publicly for the name of Christ. So they shall also openly praise the Lord in the throne of heaven, and help sing the glad new song in honor of the Lamb and of Him who sits on the throne. Revelation 14, verse 3.
