Bartholomew the Potter, in the Year 1555

Bartholomew the potter, who was a vessel of honor in the house of God (Second Timothy 2, verse 20), was also arrested for his faith at Antwerp, examined, greatly afflicted, and finally, after sentence was pronounced, publicly put to death in the market place, as a pious witness of Jesus Christ.
