Walter Mair, and Two Others, in the Year 1531

In the year 1531, Walter Mair, a cooper by trade, and a minister of the Word of God, was arrested with two others at Walsburg, in Kaernthen, and executed with the sword. So they steadfastly testified in death to the truth, and gave their lives for the covenant of God and for His holy Word; therefore their names shall also be found in the book of life, and the second death shall have no power over them. Philippians 4, verse 3; Revelation 20, verse 6.
