Isaiah 4

“Seven women will take hold of one man and say, ‘We will eat our own bread and wear our own clothing. Only let us bear your name and remove our disgrace.’”

“On that day God will shine gloriously in counsel on the earth, exalting and glorifying those who remain in Israel.”

“Those left in Zion and Jerusalem—everyone written down for life in Jerusalem—will be called holy.”

“The Lord will wash away the filth of Zion’s sons and daughters and cleanse the blood from among them with a spirit of judgment and burning.”

“Then a cloud will overshadow every place on Mount Zion and the whole region around it by day, while smoke and blazing fire will cover it by night. A shelter will cover all the glory.”

“It will provide shade from the heat and shelter and refuge from storm and rain.”
