Song of Songs 7

How Beautiful Are Your Steps

1 How beautiful are your steps in sandals, daughter of Nadab! The curves of your thighs are like necklaces, the work of a craftsman’s hands.
2 Your navel is a rounded bowl that never lacks mixed wine; your belly is a heap of wheat enclosed by lilies.
3 Your two breasts are like twin fawns of a gazelle.
4 Your neck is like an ivory tower. Your eyes are like the pools in Heshbon by the gates of the daughter of many. Your nose is like the tower of Lebanon looking toward Damascus.
5 Your head rises on you like Carmel, and the braided hair of your head is like purple; a king is held captive in its flowing strands.

Like a Palm Tree

6 How beautiful you are and how sweet, love, in your delights!
7 Your stature is like a palm tree, and your breasts are like clusters.
8 I said, ‘I will climb the palm tree and take hold of its heights.’ May your breasts be like clusters of grapes, and the scent of your nose like apples.
9 Your throat is like good wine
flowing straight to my beloved, fitting my lips and teeth.

Let Us Go Out into the Field

10 I belong to my beloved, and his turning is toward me.
11 Come, my beloved, let us go out into the field and spend the night in the villages.
12 Let us rise early for the vineyards and see whether the vine has blossomed, the henna has flowered, and the pomegranates are in bloom. There I will give you my breasts.
13 The mandrakes give off their fragrance, and at our doors are all kinds of choice fruit, new as well as old, which I have kept for you, my beloved.
