Proverbs 10

Treasures do not benefit the lawless, but righteousness rescues from death.

The Lord’s blessing rests on the head of the righteous, but untimely grief will cover the mouth of the ungodly.
The memory of the righteous is accompanied by praise, but the name of the ungodly is extinguished.
One who is wise in heart will receive commands, but one whose unguarded lips twist words will be tripped up.
Whoever walks with integrity walks confidently, but whoever twists his ways will be exposed.
Whoever winks deceitfully brings grief upon people, but whoever corrects openly makes peace.
A fountain of life is in the hand of the righteous, but destruction will cover the mouth of the ungodly.
Hatred stirs up conflict, but friendship covers everyone who refuses to quarrel.

The wise conceal perception, but the mouth of the rash draws near to crushing.
The possessions of the rich are a fortified city, but poverty is the ruin of the ungodly.
The works of the righteous produce life, but the fruits of the ungodly produce sins.
Instruction guards righteous roads of life, but instruction that accepts no correction goes astray.
Righteous lips conceal hostility, but those who utter insults are utterly foolish.
You will not escape sin through many words, but if you restrain your lips, you will be understanding.
The tongue of the righteous is refined silver, but the heart of the ungodly will fail.
The lips of the righteous know lofty things, but fools die in need.

The mouth of the righteous drips wisdom, but the tongue of the unjust will be destroyed.
The lips of righteous men drip favor, but the mouth of the ungodly turns away.
