Psalms of Solomon 14

A Hymn of Solomon

The Lord is faithful to those who love him in truth and to those who endure his discipline,
and to those who walk in the righteousness of his decrees, in the law that he commanded us for our life.
The Lord’s holy ones will live in him forever. The Lord’s garden, his trees of life, is made up of his holy ones.
Their planting is rooted forever; they will not be pulled up as long as the heavens endure.
For Israel is God’s portion and inheritance.
But it is not so with sinners and lawbreakers, who loved a day spent sharing in their sin.
Their desire is for what is small and decaying, and they did not remember God.
For human ways are always known before him, and he knows the hidden chambers of the heart before they come to be.
Therefore their inheritance is Hades, darkness, and destruction. They will not be found on the day when mercy comes to the righteous.
But the Lord’s holy ones will inherit life with gladness.
