Psalms of Solomon
Psalms of Solomon 10
In Hymns, of Solomon
1 Blessed is the man whom the Lord remembers with correction and turns away from an evil path with a lash, cleansing him from sin so he will not multiply it.
2 The one who prepares his back for lashes will be cleansed, for the Lord is kind to those who endure discipline.
3 He will straighten the paths of the righteous and will not make them crooked through discipline, and the Lord’s mercy rests upon those who love him in truth.
4 The Lord will remember his servants with mercy. The testimony stands in the law of an eternal covenant; the Lord’s testimony rests upon human ways at the time of reckoning.
5 Our Lord is righteous and holy in his judgments forever, and Israel will praise the Lord’s name with rejoicing.
6 The holy ones will give thanks in the assembly of the people, and God will have mercy on the poor amid Israel’s rejoicing,
7 because God is kind and merciful forever, and the gatherings of Israel will glorify the Lord’s name.
8 The Lord’s rescue rests upon the house of Israel for eternal rejoicing.
