Psalms of Solomon 7

Do not move your dwelling away from us, God, so those who hate us without cause will not attack us.

For you will reject them, God. Do not let their feet trample the inheritance of your holy place.

Discipline us according to your will, and do not hand us over to the nations.

For if you send death, you will give it orders concerning us,

because you are merciful and will not become angry enough to bring us to an end.

When your name dwells among us, we will receive mercy, and no nation will prevail against us.

For you are our defender. We will call upon you, and you will hear us.

For you will have pity on the family of Israel forever and will not reject them.

We will remain under your yoke forever and under the lash of your discipline.

You will guide us when your help comes, to have mercy on the house of Jacob on the day you promised them.
