Psalms 126

1 When the Lord brought Zion back from captivity, we became like people who had been comforted.

2 Then our mouth was filled with joy and our tongue with rejoicing. Then they will say among the nations,

“The Lord did great things with them.”

3 The Lord did great things with us, and we rejoiced.

4 Lord, bring us back from captivity like torrents in the south.

5 Those who sow in tears will reap with rejoicing.

6 They went along weeping, carrying their seed; but they will return with rejoicing, carrying their sheaves.
