Psalms 99

A psalm by David.

The Lord reigns; let peoples be angry. He sits upon the cherubim; let the earth be shaken.
The Lord is great in Zion and exalted above all peoples.
Let them give thanks to your great name, because it is awe-inspiring and holy.
The king’s honor loves judgment. You prepared uprightness and accomplished judgment and righteousness in Jacob.
Exalt the Lord our God and bow down at his footstool, because he is holy.
Moses and Aaron were among his priests, and Samuel was among those who called upon his name. They called upon the Lord, and he listened to them.
He spoke to them in a pillar of cloud; they guarded his witnesses and the decrees he gave them.
Lord our God, you listened to them. God, you became merciful to them while also taking vengeance on all their practices.
Exalt the Lord our God and bow down toward his holy mountain, because the Lord our God is holy.
