Psalms 98

Sing a new song to the Lord, because the Lord did wonderful things. His right hand and holy arm saved for him.

The Lord made his rescue known and revealed his righteousness before the nations.

He remembered his mercy toward Jacob and his truth toward Israel’s house. All the ends of the earth saw our God’s rescue.

Shout to God, all the earth; sing, rejoice, and make music.

Make music to the Lord with a lyre, with a lyre and the sound of a psalm.

With hammered trumpets and the sound of a horn trumpet, shout before the King, the Lord.

Let the sea and everything in it be shaken, along with the inhabited world and those living in it.

Rivers will clap their hands together, and mountains will rejoice,

because he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the inhabited world in righteousness and peoples in uprightness.
