Psalms 93

For the day before the Sabbath, when the land was settled. Praise of a song by David.

1 The Lord reigns and clothed himself with splendor; the Lord clothed and girded himself with strength. He established the inhabited world, which will not be shaken.

2 Your throne has been prepared from long ago; you exist from eternity.

3 The rivers lifted up, Lord; the rivers lifted up their voices.

4 At the voices of many waters, the surging sea is wonderful, and the Lord is wonderful in the heights.

5 Your witnesses became very sure. A sanctuary is fitting for your house, Lord, for length of days.
