Psalms 43

Judge me, God, and argue my case against an ungodly nation. Rescue me from an unjust and deceitful man.

You are my strength, God. Why did you reject me? Why do I walk with a gloomy face while my enemy oppresses me?

Send out your light and truth. They guided me and brought me to your holy mountain and to your tents.

I will go to God’s altar, to the God who gladdens my youth. I will give thanks to you with a lyre, God, my God.

Why are you deeply sad, my soul, and why do you trouble me? Trust in God, because I will give thanks to him. My God is the rescue of my face.
