Enoch 6

The children of heaven and the daughters of men

1 When the children of men had multiplied, in those days there were born to them beautiful and lovely daughters. 2 And the messengers, the children of heaven, saw them and lusted after them, and said to one another, “Come, let us choose wives for ourselves from among the children of men and father children for ourselves.” 3 And Semjaza, who was their leader, said to them, “I fear you will not truly agree to do this deed, and I alone will have to pay the penalty for a great sin.”

4 And they all answered him and said, “Let us all swear an oath, and let us all bind ourselves by curses on one another not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.” 5 Then they all swore together and bound themselves by curses on one another over it. 6 They were two hundred in all, and they came down in the days of Jared onto the summit of Mount Hermon; and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn and bound themselves by curses on one another on it.
