Numbers 29

1 “And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you are to have a holy day you are called to; you are to do no ordinary work. It is to be a day of sounding the trumpets for you. [a] 2 And you are to bring whole burnt offerings for a pleasing smell to the Lord: one young bull from the herd, one ram, seven year-old lambs without blemish. 3 Their sacrifice is to be fine flour mixed with oil: six quarts for the bull, and four quarts for the ram; 4 two quarts for each one, for the seven lambs. 5 And one male goat from the goats for the sin, to make atonement for you — 6 besides the whole burnt offerings of the new moon and their sacrifices and their drink offerings, and the standing whole burnt offering with its sacrifice and its drink offering, as the rule requires, for a pleasing smell to the Lord.

7 And on the tenth of this month you are to have a holy day you are called to; and you are to humble your souls, and you are to do no work at all. [b] 8 And you are to bring near whole burnt offerings for a pleasing smell to the Lord, offerings to the Lord: one young bull from the herd, one ram, seven year-old lambs; they are to be without blemish for you. 9 Their sacrifice is to be fine flour mixed with oil: six quarts for the bull, and four quarts for the ram; 10 two quarts for each one, for the seven lambs. 11 And one male goat from the goats for the sin, to make atonement for you — besides the offering for sin of the atonement, and the standing whole burnt offering with its sacrifice and its drink offering, as the rule requires, for a pleasing smell, an offering to the Lord.

12 And on the fifteenth day of this seventh month you are to have a holy day you are called to; you are to do no ordinary work, and you are to keep it a feast to the Lord for seven days. 13 And you are to bring near whole burnt offerings, a sacrifice for a pleasing smell to the Lord: on the first day thirteen young bulls from the herd, two rams, fourteen year-old lambs; they are to be without blemish. [c] 14 Their sacrifices are to be fine flour mixed with oil: six quarts for each bull, for the thirteen bulls; and four quarts for each ram, for the two rams; 15 two quarts for every lamb, for the fourteen lambs. 16 And one male goat from the goats for the sin, besides the standing whole burnt offering; and their sacrifices and their drink offerings.

17 And on the second day, 12 bulls, two rams, fourteen year-old lambs without blemish. 18 Their sacrifice and their drink offering are to be for the bulls and the rams and the lambs according to their number, as the rule requires. 19 And one male goat from the goats for the sin, besides the standing whole burnt offering; and their sacrifices and their drink offerings.

20 And on the third day, 11 bulls, two rams, fourteen year-old lambs without blemish. 21 Their sacrifice and their drink offering are to be for the bulls and the rams and the lambs according to their number, as the rule requires. 22 And one male goat from the goats for the sin, besides the standing whole burnt offering; and their sacrifices and their drink offerings.

23 And on the fourth day, 10 bulls, two rams, fourteen year-old lambs without blemish. 24 Their sacrifice and their drink offering are to be for the bulls and the rams and the lambs according to their number, as the rule requires. 25 And one male goat from the goats for the sin, besides the standing whole burnt offering; and their sacrifices and their drink offerings.

26 And on the fifth day, 9 bulls, two rams, fourteen year-old lambs without blemish. 27 Their sacrifice and their drink offering are to be for the bulls and the rams and the lambs according to their number, as the rule requires. 28 And one male goat from the goats for the sin, besides the standing whole burnt offering; and their sacrifices and their drink offerings.

29 And on the sixth day, 8 bulls, two rams, fourteen year-old lambs without blemish. 30 Their sacrifice and their drink offering are to be for the bulls and the rams and the lambs according to their number, as the rule requires. 31 And one male goat from the goats for the sin, besides the standing whole burnt offering; and their sacrifices and their drink offerings.

32 And on the seventh day, 7 bulls, two rams, fourteen year-old lambs without blemish. 33 Their sacrifice and their drink offering are to be for the bulls and the rams and the lambs according to their number, as the rule requires. 34 And one male goat from the goats for the sin, besides the standing whole burnt offering; and their sacrifices and their drink offerings.

35 And on the eighth day you are to have the closing day; you are to do no ordinary work on it. [d] 36 And you are to bring whole burnt offerings for a pleasing smell, offerings to the Lord: one bull, one ram, seven year-old lambs without blemish. 37 Their sacrifices and their drink offerings are to be for the bull and the ram and the lambs according to their number, as the rule requires. 38 And one male goat from the goats for the sin, besides the standing whole burnt offering; and their sacrifices and their drink offerings. 39 These are the sacrifices you are to bring to the Lord at your feasts, besides your vows; and you are to bring your gifts of your own choice, and your whole burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your drink offerings, and your offerings of well-being.”
