Colossians
Colossians 4
1 Masters, grant to your slaves what is right and equal, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.
Devote Yourselves to Prayer
2 Devote yourselves to prayer, staying awake in it with thanksgiving, 3 praying at the same time for us also, that God may open to us a door for the word, to speak the secret of Christ — for which I have also been bound — 4 so that I may make it plain, as I must speak. 5 Walk in wisdom toward those outside, buying up the time. 6 Let your word always be with favor, seasoned with salt, so that you know how you must answer each one.
Tychicus and Onesimus
7 Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful servant and fellow slave in the Lord, will make known to you all the things about me; 8 whom I sent to you for this very thing, so that you may know the things about us and he may comfort your hearts, 9 together with Onesimus, the faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They will make known to you everything here.
Greetings from Those With Me
10 Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner of war, greets you, and Mark the cousin of Barnabas — about whom you received commands: if he comes to you, welcome him — 11 and Jesus who is called Justus — those who are of the circumcision. These alone are fellow workers for the kingdom of God, and they became a comfort to me. 12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a slave of Christ, greets you, always struggling for you in his prayers, that you may stand complete and fully assured in all the will of God. 13 For I testify to him that he has much toil for you and for those in Laodicea and those in Hierapolis. 14 Luke the beloved physician greets you, and Demas.
15 Greet the brothers in Laodicea, and Nympha and the gathering at her house. 16 And when this letter has been read among you, see that it is read also in the gathering of the Laodiceans, and that you also read the one from Laodicea. 17 And say to Archippus, “See to the service that you received in the Lord, that you fulfill it.” 18 The greeting in my own hand — Paul’s. Remember my chains. Favor be with you.
